Dr. Ibrahim Bulushi is the Chief Executive Officer of the Waqf Commission of Kenya and a Council Member of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNİW) based in Turkey. He is a Co-Founder and Director-General of the African Foundation for Education and Community Development (AFECoD), a registered non-profit organization in Kenya. He is also a coordinator of Malaysia Humanitarian Aid and Relief Organization (MAHAR). Dr. Bulushi is a Chief Editor for Swahili Qur’an Translation under Nasyrul Quran Complex in Malaysia.
Dr. Bulushi is a former Dean of Students Affairs and Registrar (Administration, Planning & Finance) at Umma University, Kenya. He holds a PhD in Islamic Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Law with a specialization in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He also earned:
